The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed the presences of the Corona Virus (COVID-19) case in Lagos State The case, which was confirmed on the 27th of February 2020, is the first case to be reported in Nigeria since the beginning of the outbreak in China in January 2020.

What is Corona Virus?
Corona Viruses are a large group of viruses that are common among animals. In rare cases, they are what scientists call zoonotic, meaning they can be transmitted from animals to humans.
